Although The Neverending Story is a game, it is still a social event, and just as at other such events, we expect players to act in accordance with social norms and within the bounds of common sense.
Following the game's rules is a responsibility each person voluntarily takes on, which helps make the game enjoyable for you and other players alike, and also makes the game possible in the first place.
When players encounter people who are not participating in the game — for example, mushroom foragers — we ask that you ignore them as far as the game is concerned, but otherwise behave politely and appropriately to the situation.
In case of any uncertainty, please turn to the nearest Game Master.
Game Masters have the final word on questions related to the running of the game. All game-related decisions made by the game masters are final for the player.
2. Belongings
We ask that you bring only essential items and those necessary for the game into the game area. Phones, valuables, and other similar items are permitted in the game, but it is recommended to leave them in your car or in the neutral zone with the game leaders.
Game items may only be transferred to other players voluntarily.
Players are responsible for collecting their own trash and removing it from the game area after themselves as much as possible.
3. Photography
Players are allowed to take photographs (using phones, cameras, etc.) to capture moments from the game, but please do so in a way that does not disrupt the game's progress.
Please be aware that bringing such devices into the game area is your own responsibility, and you bear responsibility for your device.
There is not planned any people just to take photos or film.
4. It is forbidden to
Engage in activities that do not comply with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
Alcohol consumption is not prohibited at the game, but it is forbidden to be in the game area in an unfit state (clearly under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances); players in such states can be disqualified from the game.
Tell other players how they should play or use the game's mechanics. Such disagreements may only be resolved through the GM, by approaching them out-of-character.
Provoke out-of-character conflicts. All personal conflicts are to be resolved after the game.
Enter the game area without first coordinating with the game masters.
Store game items outside the game area — for example, in a car or in a personal tent.
