You know that feeling. A story so alive it hurt to leave it. A world you carried with you long after the book closed, the movie ended, the lights came back on.
Fantasia was that world.
The Childlike Empress. Falkor banking through storm clouds. Atreyu refusing to give up even when everything told him to. A child in an attic realizing the story was about them all along. You were that child once. In some way, you still are.
The Neverending Story: Fantasy is dead is a 2-day outdoor LARP set in the world you never quite forgot – rebuilt, reimagined, and handed to you. Not to watch. Not to follow. To shape. High fantasy. Story-driven. Built around player choice, creativity, and the kind of collaborative storytelling that made you fall in love with Fantasia in the first place.
Come back to the world that never really left you.
This time, YOU get to write it.
The key things you should know about this LARP
You are the character, creature or being from the vast world of Fantasia.
Any fantasy outfit is permitted if it matches the idea of character you have decided to play.
Fantasia is not dead it has suffered fatal incident in process of moving The Book to the digital world.
All player characters have one common goal – to start from the scratch and keep this story never ending.
Combat will be important part of the game but that will be player versus the world situations not personal battles.
There are no teams and all players are considered as individuals, even if you come as a group.
You can use any language playing this game but all written and lore texts will be in English.
The game will have 6 virtual playing cycles – 2 at Friday evening and 4 at Saturday.
We expect to have 30 player characters, but game will happen even if there will just be ONE.
You need to be 18 years old. Exceptions can be made, but you need to contact GM.
11.-12. September, 2026. Arrival from 15:00, Start at 20:00 and end at Saturday evening (19:00-22:00).

Gater your camping equipement or arrange other sleeping options.
You can get to the game
Using your means of transport (or asking someone to bring you along).
Bus Rīga – Ērgļi (station Puriņi). Leads exactly where location is.
Bus Rīga – Suntaži, stops in Suntaži city which is 3 km from the location.
Suggested participation fee
The amount of players and collected money will not impact if this project happen or not. It is self funded by creators and they assume full financial responsibility for game, but it is always great to receive some money back and not to starve.

If you would like to support us and add a little or even a lot extra, we would not mind at all. This hobby is expensive.
At this moment we have not planned organized food options and you need to take care of your self. If anything will change we will let you know.
